Ashley Darby

Ashley Darby is an American TV personality and performer. She became famous after being crowned Miss District of Columbia in the year 2011 and has been the main character on The Real Housewives of Potomac since it premiered at the beginning of January. Ashley Darby, an entrepreneur and philanthropist with a love for wellness and hospitality, is a passionate entrepreneur. Being a Maryland born, with a smoky persona, Ashley was infused with perseverance and an incomparable desire to be successful. Ashley, the oldest of her children and her mother's only child was a child who worked multiple jobs in order to provide for her siblings. She was just 18 when Ashley attended University of Maryland while bartending as a side hustle. This helped her to keep a steady income for herself and family. Ashley working as a bartender during that time, was noticed by Miss District of Columbia Pageant. In 2011, she won! Soon thereafter Ashley met Michael Darby an Australian real estate millionaire, who is 29 years her senior. It was a flurry of excitement and Ashley was welcomed into a world she'd never known existed. Ashley and Michael married in 2019. They became parents to Dean Michael and Dylan Matthew. Although they spent eight years as a couple, they split up in 2022. Ashley is certified as a yoga instructor. Her belief is that peace within is vital, however so is the physical aspect of one's life. Ashley is full of pleasure, yet she's doing her best to ensure a healthy balance in her relationships. Speaking about her professional journey, Ashley is a television professional by trade. When she first started out, she was a bartender as her family had to earn money. But her passion for style and entertainment has been evident even when she was just a little girl. Furthermore, she decided to put all her effort in to enter the pageant competition. In 2011, she won the Miss District of Columbia title also in 2011. Followed by this she also participated in the Miss America pageant but even when she didn't win the title, she was able to get an opportunity to win a scholarship. She was awarded a scholarship of $5000 and also the John Curran Award for Non-Finalist Interview.
